The PalliAmi Foundation supports people at the end of life, their loved ones, and those who are grieving. We provide compassionate, caring support during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.

The PalliAmi Foundation provides services and support to people receiving palliative care, those at the end of life, and their loved ones in order to ease this final stage of life.

Palliative care aims to improve the quality of life of people living with a serious illness by relieving suffering and providing comprehensive support to patients and their families.

The PalliAmi Foundation was established in 1981 to support the palliative care unit at Notre-Dame Hospital, the first French-speaking unit of its kind in the world.

People receiving palliative care at Notre-Dame Hospital and their loved ones can benefit from our services and support.

Our bereavement services are available to any adult aged 18 and over who has lost a loved one, anywhere in Quebec.

We offer volunteer companionship, therapeutic services such as music therapy, massage therapy and animal-assisted therapy, support for loved ones, and bereavement support.
